  • I'm slightly nervous of playing the amateur physio/doctor with my GF, but she's suffering knee pain.

    My first guess is that it's "runner's knee": pain to the front of the knee just below and to the outside of the kneecap. Where are the best places to read up on realistic treatment, exercises and recovery (also what substitute training to do during recovery)? Google throws up millions of options but I'm struggling to sort the good advice from the crap.
