lol, feisty.
i read that thread and have searched blah blah, but it seams u missunderstood....
my question was relating to how the lock functions. as i have seen the list from the thread mentioned, i know there are altervatives but with no explanation of the alarming system. if u see the video of the Kabrus it has an amazing system but the batteries dont last so long. so onto the list of other 'locks that work' do they have simalr system with better battery life. or do they use the xena's type where it is more likey to go off 'like a teenager with acne'(james) -

I am seriously looking at that krabos padlock, but the amazon reviews are deterring me.
Perhaps the batteries will last longer considering the lock will only be armed while im out somewhere? As opposed to all night at home, since i keep my bike indoors.

Holy shit, yes it is! Not sure there's much I can complain about though, seeing as it was posted on a public forum

Personally I don't care when people re-blog my photos which were online already, but using them for commercial gains is a no-no. At least ask first.

I feel the same, if they had asked me I would have considered it, especially if it was the company I bought the lock from (its not) or Xena themselves. I've sent them a polite email asking them to remove the pic, not sure whether it will have much affect mind.

Three years late to the party but I have just ordered this lock. Cheers.

But nobody at all recommended it. Congratulations!

Considering ordering this to secure my bikes in the shed.

A pair of pruning shears would have that cable in a blink. Interesting though, and maybe it could work, as Xena disc alarms are said to be sometimes overly sensitive.

Still, I'd rather see a substantial lock on a bike, supported by the disc alarm. Carefully cutting should render the cable ineffective, but maybe a review will show see if my suspicions are right, or off the mark.

I reckon it's fine, long as you wrap the cable put of view making it undetected till the alarm goes off would help.
Thinking of ordering those.
Come off it James. You only turned up here because you saw the "Bumb" above. You're pervy mate.
