Are you following a plan? I'm supposed to have started an 18 week plan for Brighton, but the predicted pace for the long runs is intimidating the shit out of me, and I'm fairly sure that it is wrong, given that it is almost at race pace for a 3:40
It's my own plan, I'm a bit behind at the moment hence doing a 20k and 30k in a week.
Back on track now for a 10k at 4 min 15 km on Tuesday and Thursday a treadmill interval session on Wednesday, 5min 30km 10k on Friday and then a long run on saturday.
I've got one of those funny water bottle holding bum bags, I can't stand it but it is useull for situations like that^
