No, it's a fair cop. And to be honest it was quite dumb. With hindsight getting wet was the best possible outcome.

Hah, we should have had a "how muddy is your bike" contest post Festive 500.

I cleaned about a kilo of mud off mine yesterday.

This photo was taken before I finished my 'Festive 400', it got worse before it got better, but my riding on the 30th washed a lot of it off.

What pedals are on that?

They're meant to have a slightly bigger platform for better power transfer, and they're lighter of course, but the main thing is I've noticed is how lovely and silky they are to clip in and out of.
