I guess they may stress the knees. I wore them for both touch rugby, and long runs before I wore mine out. Did'nt kill me.
I've ordered some nice looking winter trail shoes. Should fit and ride like my Roclites. But with added ice grip. My new headtorch seems to work well too.
Let it snow etc.
