Did my half hour run this morning, still painful shins but chopped over onto running on grass to try and cushion the footfall.
Once I stop running the pain subsides quite quickly. And it wasn't any worse than on Sunday so I consider that a result.
When showering I noticed a lump on my right shin, not pronounced singular veins but just a lump, this went down after about half an hour. Odd. It was obviously vascular rather than muscular but wondered if this is what happens when you run? Never having done running before like this I have no point of reference.
Cheers and hope you all had a great Christmas Day, I certainly enjoyed cooking then stuffing my face this afternoon knowing that I'd done the run I had planned to.
