I just wonder why liberty and firearms seem so entwined- I agree that almost all the rhetoric coming from the states suggests that there is a 1:1 ratio between freedom and handguns.
i kept asking myself the same question, one american friend produced figures that showed that less people die in such shootings if a member of the public confronted the gunman compared to if police were left to deal with the situation.
