Anyone like to take a guess as to whether this frame is genuine. I thought Gios Torinos from this era had GIOS stamped in to the seat stay "lugs".

Soz if reeps.
Nice "vintage" wheelset w/ tubs freewheel etc for £50 bin / £30 no bids 1 day left - seems OK to me.

They have been posted before. I think the issue is the non original rear skewer/QR. Still a good deal though, those tubs are £19 each new, so (crudely) £12 for a set of Record wheels?
Rims do seem to have a fair amount of wear as well.

it's the real deal, seatstays are cut out and it has the treasured coins fork. not very expensive if the paint is original too, would absolutely look the business if cleaned & polished properly

Hi All,
Spotted this on eBay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1950s-Claud-Butler-Lugless-21-5-Reynolds-531-frame-original-condition-May-1954-/251037540035?pt=UK_sportsleisure_cycling_bikeparts_SR&hash=item3a7300dec3 Nice original Claud dating from when claud was still involved with the business. Cheap but sadly too small for me!
