Pearson Carbon Audax Pro: A comfy, modern & fast (ish) long-distance bike

Been meaning to post- I saw a chap with CF-alike Bontrager mudguards the other day.

Obviously you'd need to remove the Bontrager logo/s, but they might match better if you flatted the clearcoat anyway.

Stem needs slamming.

I decided that crabon effect guards would be naff, basically. The Raceguard Longs are a gloss black which looks quite good I think (I put them on last night). Also I got trade price on the Raceguards, and they fit around the brakes well (the TRP R960s don't leave much clearance) so would have been rude not to.

Also, I have those Hope skewers on my CX bike, they are nicely made but small objects tend to start travelling in a concentric circle around them...

What do you mean by small objects tend to start travelling in a concentric circle around them? I don't get it.

Those Planet X skewers or whatever they are look like they'd dig into your hand to me. Anyway, keeping the Hopes! I like them.

What does this weigh.

That's what I'm interested in. Also forgot I *need *to buy Nokon cables...

I do want to weight it, out of interest. It's never going to be weight weenie in the road bike scheme of things but it definitely is for an audax bike.

And get Alligators, I reckon they're better, having now got both.
