• I find it hard to trust eBay sellers of watches. I'd also be much happier seeing the watch in person before parting with my money.

Having said that, i am a little bit in love with this:

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Vintage-Gents-Omega-Seamaster-600-Watch-Box-1966-Stunning-/150964656623?pt=UK_Jewelery_Watches_Watches_MensWatches_GL&hash=item232631d9ef

The new crystal looks a little out of place though... i always thought the original ones were tapered and not stepped at the sides?

Crystal looks fine to me, just the way it's been photographed and how it's caught the light.

It's a very nice example and the guy's selling from the UK, plus has excellent feedback, so you can't really go far wrong.

Because it's mechanical but not an automatic and very clean plus serviced I reckon it will sell for about 350 to 400 quid tops but we'll see.

If you were to go to any number of watch shops in London and buy over the counter you'd pay 600 to 800 for this. Up to you fella, your notes.
