Barcelona have racked up extreme debt. They've been able to do this for a number of reasons. In terms of revenue, they've got a lopsided TV deal so get $$£$£$£$£$, they've got a better global reach than Chelsea (won the champions league more times, more shirt sales. Probably), and in no particular order they've got the support of:
the Jews, FIFA, UEFA, Platini, Blatter, Bilderberg group (Kissinger often talks to Blair about the importance of the typical "4" in Barca's structure, even though Xavi plays as a "6", and the development of the false 9 and a back three).
