It's not quite as silly as a Leica and has the same sensor as the Nikon d600 so it's probably a good job better too.
What doesn't help the price is the fact it uses a leaf shutter that goes up to 1/4000th.
The RX100 only uses a 1" sensor and is 20mp but still manages to be A LOT less noisy than the current canon 18MP APS-C.
