I have a nice pair of mavic CXP 14 rims which I want to build up on dura ace hubs for a bling wheelset for a 90's steel build.

What spokes should I use?

in terms of Sapim spokes would it be a waste of money to use CX ray even though the Mavics are not particulary lightweight or aero?

Maybe superspokes or just laser instead? want the best, as lightweight as possible, and good looking to boot.

I'm going 32 front, 36 rear for strength.

If you want the best, CX-Ray are as good as you'll get in terms of weight, strength and aerodynamics.
