A couple of changes this morning:
1) Creation of a read-only usergroup
2) Moved lynx to that usergroup
Basically lynx has stated that due to alleged harassment that he feels he is on the receiving end of on Facebook, that he intends to contact the police.
He has made the request for me to remove his posting permissions whilst still retaining the ability to read content.
As there is no functionality in the vBulletin software to create a read-only permission for a single user I have had to create a usergroup that cannot create content and merely can read the public content. Lynx has now been moved to this usergroup by way of fulfilling his request.
He is effectively only contactable via his private email or other web sites as, being read-only by his request, he is unable to respond via LFGSS.
I will not be drawn into a conversation about what has happened on Facebook (I, not being on there, do not know what happened on Facebook), nor about who the perpetrator of the alleged harassment is.
