Right. I've not updated to iOS6 yet, for the obvious reason being I want the original and proper Google Maps App. It's one of the main reasons I got an iPhone in the first place. I don't want the piss poor Apple Maps in it's place. But I'm getting fed up with the little red (1) on my settings icon and now some of my other apps will not update without iOS6 and so more annoying little red (1)'s.
Now I know you can use Google Maps through the browser and add it to the homepage etc. whatever. But this isn't good enough.
Can anyone tell me if/when Google will release an decent Maps App for iOS6 please? I'd even be willing to pay for it. I'm sure I'm not alone. Why can't Google see this massive marketing opportunity?
Or am I missing something?
