I got my two at 12 weeks, and vaccinated by the breeder's vet. I would say that 8 weeks was too early, and that the breeder should not let them go unvaccinated. Given that they should have the creatures best interest at heart, I am surprised that they would let them go without vaccination. Personally I'd keep looking ...
