I almost never use any trains in London. No matter how good or improved, there aren't really any scenarios when I don't prefer to ride my bike. That said, I don't often have to do the sort of trips the Overground facilitates. I've only used it once, when I was injured and couldn't ride my bike. It enabled me to go to Brockley drinks. However, it was very expensive and I didn't realise it closed so early. Then I had to take buses home, anyway.
