You mentioned the royals, not me. Obviously being a dick = being a dick. I just don't think pretending to be the Queen makes anyone more of a dick.
In fact, there is probably an argument to made for the opposite. (That is, less of a dick. Although I'm not sure I buy it, myself. But I might.).
