I'd rather listen to a post match review from someone who has watched the FULL match on the meganet than some halfarsed review from the Sunday papers...or worse still; edited and biased snippets from MOTD!
I do find opinions which are heavily influenced by pundits and journalists to be worthless. I can listen to Linekar if I want to and can hear him directly. I don't need someone to paraphrase him for me. There is a lot that can be seen while watching a game live that is not seen on television. OK, it is harder to judge particular fouls or other refereeing decisions but it is easier to see strategy and the work rate of all the players. Positioning off the ball is as much what the game is about as work on the ball.
