Damn. The digital interface on my Variax crapped out (from having a regular jack poked in there by mistake), and Line6 UK won't sell spares. Then I snap up a Variax 700 (which is a Japan-built top of the line model with a tremolo) on Ebay that is advertised as "all electrics tested and working perfectly" only to find when it arrives that the digital socket on that is fucked up in exactly the same way.
So that's two new complete jack assemblies I just had to order from a US supplier with £37 shipping.
