That's like the whole servicing argument. Buy an expensively engineered piece of equipment and pay the price.
People who assume that because they've bought a Rolex and don't need to service it or look after it correctly are the same people who think that paying £800 for a service interval on a sports car is a riff-off.
Spend a lot of money buying it - spend a lot of money looking after it.
