Do you mean you're trying to get the centre bolt out? The proper tool is under a tenner. You can use the long arm of a normal 8mm Allen key, but you need a bit of stout tubing which fits fairly closely over the short end to provide the necessary leverage.
I'm guessing they are not Super Record as you're being cheap, but just in case they are, bear in mind that models with Titanium axles use a left hand thread on the centre bolt.
