people on other forums tend to say that the frame/bike is too harsh on bad roads, what do you think? also what size is yours and how tall are you?

I'm 174cm and have the Small (51cm seat tube). It has an effective TT of 53cm which fits me perfectly w/ a 110mm stem although has quite a high saddle to bar drop (around 150mm) if that's not your thing.

As for comfort, I have done plenty of long distance rides along less than perfect roads and it's always been super smooth. It will never feel like steel but the integrate seatpost removes most of the bumps. It's certainly less harsh than my alu cross bike. As 6pt says, it's all about the saddle, bar, wheel and tyre choices.
