I'm the same. Really enjoyed GTA 3 and Vice City but they are really hard to play on the mobile.

Head to Sanctuary and buy a shit load of weapon ammo upgrades for the ones you use most (rockets / sniper etc).

Should help.

did this last night and it did help quite a bit actually.

some of the boss fights are just a crapshoot though. absolute fluke whether I get blasted to bits or destroy the boss in 5 secs flat. fps shooters are def better with mouse/keyboard.

just ask craftybutcher, used to kick his arse on the regs at wolfenstein:enemy territory.

Also, it's always good to work out which weapon type works best against which enemy.

Fire weapons own fleshy types (psychos etc) and corrosive ones smash through robots whilst shock weapons pretty much kill anything that moves.

^ This. Damage types make a huge difference. Also, slagging them first then switching to another weapon is a good tactic. Make sure you find their "critical hit" targets as well.

Dishonored £14.99 on Steam at the minute folks!

I am early into Dishonored. Generally I don't like FP as the POV for non FPS games but I'm really enjoying the nicely balanced mechanics on this. Rat possession FTW.

Not sure if i'm regretting not getting it. It does look like an awesome game, but then i'm spending enough time as it is with CS:GO, Driver: San Fransisco and Saints Row The Third. Dishonored would probably turn me into a complete social outcast as opposed to a partial one...

Just picked up Persona 4 Golden for PS Vita here in LA. Never played it before, it's pretty awesome.

The THQ bundle is definitely worth a few quid for Saints Row alone

I stupidly caved, and bought guild wars 2.

Never played any kind of MMO, so it's been a steep learning curve so far... but enjoying it.

Yeah, really good! I thought I'd hate it, but I think I'm addicted!

Just running around hitting stuff. Avoiding 'gay' bits like cooking and crafting.

So far I've found the community really friendly, people have made me weapons and armour for nowt, took me to see dragons (protected me all the way there!) and all sorts.

Well fun.

Mananged to finish FTL with a couple of different ships now, but only on easy.

I've got the end stage / boss fight a few times now but haven't managed to beat it yet.

Getting a bit bored of it TBH. There isn't enough variety on the random events and the whole "universe" is quite small. I'd like to see it expanded to an online MMO of sorts. That would be ace.

I found teleportation and stealth to be the best things. Send in a couple of mantis dudes to break their weapons, although, I start with the missiles from the centre right,leave the beam guy on the far right alone, then kill off all the other dudes in the main bit from the med bay, after you've disabled it. You can then knock out the shields and blow it to fuck. Same again when the drones come out at the next fight, save stealth for when there is a power surge detected, beam in and knock out the missiles and drone room ASAP then shields. Last fight is easy, straight in for missiles and shields, the rooms will self repair now though as the last guy is dead so an AI takes over.

I'll give that a go...

I knocked out some of the weapons on the last go I had at it (only played it a few times) but got destroyed by the drones whilst doing it. I might try unlocking some more ships first. I only have two.

I may have got annoyed and downloaded a save game with them all unlocked, although I have done it with a ship that I unlocked before that now. The drones are a bitch when there are loads of them, that's what used to get me, get stealth for when they go nuts and you'll be fine.

the assasins creed type games don't really do it for me, i much prefer photon blasters and space ships and travelling the universe

THPS HD Reverts DLC out today.
4 more maps and 4 more skaters. 2 of which are in Metallica, for some weird reason.

Reverts have been patched into the existing levels (certainly true on PS3, and has been for a couple of weeks)
