I still say Longboards with Berthoud hardwear is the win.
Ed, I bet you haven't tried that combo yet.
I think the majority of mess that SKS and similar fenders make is due to their hardwear design where the bulk of it is on the inside of the fender.
Have you weighed Berthoud stainless fenders? ouch
