While there are many things wrong with North American sports, one thing they get right is fairness. Things like the the draft systems, salary caps, etc are stacked against people buying the league, at least over a long period of time. Yet teams like the Patriots, Lakers, etc still manage to be the best, simply by being really fucking good at what they do. I like that mindset, and wish we had it in football.
