Chelsea really are jokes.. does a manger get longer than a year these days?

At least they had the sense to give rdm a shorter term deal this time

It's potentially a record breaking year for them, the first Champions of Europe to go out at the group stage in defence of their title...

I am very sorry to see a man who I have admired for years treated so abruptly. That said, would we prefer to be like Arsenal, a club who holds on to an iconic manager because he once won a few things (but never the biggest one of them all) even though he hasn't won anything for years and is destined never to win a trophy again?

The answer is no. So let's move on. Have a temporary manager until the end of the season. Hopefully pick up a trophy or two but most importantly qualify for the Champions League next year and then bring in a top manager to take things forward.
