  • Jacqui, you'll probably find adjusting stuff like how often your phone syncs, will reduce battery usage. I can get 24 hours out of my Nexus because I tend to be using computers most of the time and don't need the phone. At night I turn off sync so it doesn't beep at me. I don't leave the GPS on. I leave WiFi on but I'm almost always near a wifi access point and it also helps with faster location pinpointing if you're using nav. I used to use 2G instead of 3G but that was back when I had an early Samsung - I've not done that for years now.
    Screen brightness I tend to run Auto now but used to leave quite low on the Desire HD, as it would cane the battery.
    Reduce update intervals on any twitter, facebook, weather, news, etc apps.
