Sorry, I don't really know. I admit it, I'm over-sensitive about this subject. I suppose I want this forum to be a place in which we don't have people trying to be witty and humorous when referring to heinous criminals, and where we are not constantly reminded of all the nastiness in the world (except in the news thread).
I don't think it's a question of me not getting is the psychology behind joking about these things, you could argue that it's this uneasy culture of making light of these actions which has allowed people to get away with them for so long.
