Android phones, apps and tablets

Right, geeks - arguments for and against native app development? We have someone trying to push iOS down our necks but we want to head down the web app path as it's what we know and it's not device dependent.

Not sure about Android, but Apple has gone down the path of limiting functionality for web-apps versus "Apps".
