Been out for a long walk with my GX1 today and I'm growing increasingly frustrated with it. Keep missing shots I know wouldn't be a problem with my 5D. Sure, it's a lot smaller and therefor with me more, but missing shots sucks.
I know this one is up to me, but my 5D i usually had on full manual as it has two dials for aperture + shutter speed. The GX1 has only one though, so it's mostly in aperture priority, but for some reason my head then turns off a little bit and I forgot to set aperture carefully. + I miss the short depth of field of a good lens on the 5D.
Would an x-e1 be worth the extra monies? Would be a good coupla hundred on top of what I'd get for the GX1.
Or maybe it's time to get a good neg scanner and go 100% film
