Bike after its stag do.
Or bike owner helping thieves out by means of a makeshift workstand.
Or bike locked to sapling thirty-odd years ago.
It's your bike, right? ;)

And these people are doctors?
"Is that heart valve secure?"
"Yep, I did it myself..."I'm a medical student.. if you want a free bike, the racks around the london chest and royal london hospital are always good for a laugh. It's especially funny when someone tries reeeeaaally hard (i.e. spends a lot of money and weight on a high end kryptonite) but fails so hard (uses the d-lock as a glorified padlock for a tiny loop cable...etc)

Them kids spent too much time passing 10 a levels and not enough time developing common sense.
I see medical students in the gym sometimes, the stuff they do there is also entertaining.

Is that the place behind the Castle? I remember thinking how annoying that bar was to lock to with a Fahg.

Bike locking is being included in the new Bikeability standards.

The only thing bad about it is the weight. Chains & padlocks are pretty poor in terms of security and very very heavy. So best you leave this at location.
don't lock them near the floor, or dogs will piss on them
filthy little bastards

There for at least 25min with no sign of owner. Ended up taking it into office and leaving a note.

Police investigate ease of bike theft!
All a bit Dom Jolly but I was suprised how easily the locks broke when 'yanked'

They locked up a bike and an officer went with bolt cutters to ''steal'' it. Around 50 people saw it and not a single person reported the theft.
No-one reported it because they rightfully suspected the police would do fuck all about it. The polices priorities being set by monetary value, not social, ie Is this the only method of getting to work for the owner?

Oh yes.

Cannondale Flash locked up with a shitty lock, and the guy has already had one of these stolen from this same spot. Idiot.

This was on Cannon St this morning. Check out the bike in the background - the front wheel locked to nothing with a u lock (and quick release) and the pink lock around the seatpost. So, essentially a crap b-twin bike being leant against the bike stand. Wonder if it is still there.

Jesus mclordy Christ! I show a pic of a bit if scaffolding in London and you pinpoint it exactly. Own up, that's your bike isn't it?

^^^ like DJ said there's a lock going through the STs, spokes and around the stand
And while the front wheel could be locked better having a ulock though it will detour any opportunists

Not sure what I feel more sorry for, his poorly locked bike or his bruised bollocks...
-
• #2374
^^ Ouch.. if he'd locked to the bar behind it it would at least have looked a bit more locked.

My mistake, saw the two poor locks, didn't think a bike of that calibre would have 3 locks on it. I take it all back
A variation on a classic
