Spotted in Brighton...

Did anyone see that red Gazelle Champion Mondiale that was locked up for ages near Waitrose on Western Road? It gradually got raped of parts until just the frame was left, then the council came and put the removal notice on it and it went a couple of days later in the night. I was fucking gutted, it was beautiful, but I couldn't crack the lock... Ahem.

I even left a note on it for the guy before it was robbed of everything, saying that if he wanted to sell it ever then I'd have it. He wrote back saying no but thanks. When I wrote back, post-vultures, to enquire if I could have the frame, he never replied.

I hope its gone to a good home and not just been carted off by the council landfill team.

Yeah I had my eye on this for a while as well, as soon as the front wheel vanished I knew it was a goner. It looked pretty small.

Always out riding in Brighton, but has no foot retention and its fixed,argh the pain!

I don't know who he is but I admire that bike each time I see it, I love the black and white paintjob/stickers. He's riding ss though right, not fixed, hence no straps?

I work in Halfords ( I know, don't hate me ) up in Hove. My whip is a de stickered and then marginally sticker bombed SE Lager with purple aero rages on and risers....

On my way to work this morning I'm blasting along by Hove Lawns and this utter chump on an MTB is coming towards me, wrap shades on, fleecy jacket, with a large brown paper bag in his hands, both of his hands. So with no hands on the handlebars he's occupying the centre of the bike lane and makes absolutely no effort to move over, I'm forced to brake heavily and go on to the grass to let him past. I shout "What the fuck are you doing!?" to which he replies "La la la la la" as he rides off. I dunno why I didn't follow him and kick him off his bike. What a tosser.

We are all considerably more attractive and 90% of us know whey we are talking about haha

hey i think i was riding by you this morning about 9.30 through western road hove side. i was on a mint green brompton, you skidded out side tescos. restecp

2 guys riding down North street, one with a front Arrospok, one with a deep front rim, maybe H+S? Riding brakeless and retentionless, so were goign preetty slowly ;)

were they twins? and wearing weird tights under shorts?
