    Based on no experience and little knowledge I'm say it'll be fine!

    The one thing I would say is check your clearances. On my '90s Dawes the rear can take a smooth 32mm bonit racelite, but not a larger Specialized Crossroads Armadillo Elite Tyre like this:

    Also there isn't much room width-wise on the front.
