It's only a few miles from my house. The steam train chugs sedately through the Yorkshire countryside, past the station where The Railway Children was filmed, and the carriages are all tinsilled up to the nines. Santa gives out mince pies to all and sundry and there's a real ale carriage serving top quality locally brewed, hand pulled pints.
With one ticket you can stay on all day if you want, getting fatter and fatter and drunker and drunker.
