Proper leather shoes

Any other recommendations for proper old school cobblers? IE. do a good job for not stupid money.
The old Cypriot guy (Denis the barbers uncle) from New Cross is now somewhere in Herne Hill I'm told...

I have a pair of Sanders (and Sanders) officers' shoes just like these http://www.classicshoesformen.com/sites/default/files/images/Vintage%20Sanders%20Uniform%20Oxford%20Tuczek%20Cleverley%208%20(1).JPG except broken in and nicer. I need to get the heels rebuilt as they squeak like a mofo.

If they're squeaking it might mean that the shank inside the shoe has detached. This is a job for a proper cobbler, not some uninterested 17yr old oik at Timpsons.
