Is there any sort of investigation underway? Hate to say, I could see it happen again with the parking/traffic island combo.

Very very sad. I was away last week and missed this thread. This happened at the end of my road on a piece of London's roads I know very well indeed. So sorry that a fellow rider should meet this fate here. Love to his family and friends. x
