Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

I had my eye on these, the Contest Bibs with windtex but they've not got my size.

Do you notice a difference with windproof panels on the front? Seems like a great idea.

I have some NB running tights with windproof panels. Does work well in terms of giving you a broad comfort zone climate wise. But they are a touch stiff. Maybe the Gore ones are more flexible? My windproof Gore T-shirt is one of best bits of sports gear I own. But again is very stiff.
