Because brake lever wear is such a huge issue, isn't it?

I've worn out cheap Shimano levers before. The Éclat levers run on quality brass bushes and I really think the overall quality and aesthetics make them worth the extra buck but each to there own.

I'm going to use an ultra torque chainset on a pomp with a slightly modified bolt on cog mounted to an adaptor that will take the chain line inboards from 52mm to 46mm

I would be very interested in one of these. Are you going to modify a velosolo cog? How are you planning to cut it?
