Rapha, nice but a bit pricey?

I don't have the merino ones, just the normal ones, worn twice, incredibly uncomfortable. I put them in a drawer, then took them out a year later to sell and discovered most of the stitching had come out on of the elastic things — they went straight in the bin.

Assos have done a year already, look brand new still.

Yeah, the regular ones are too tight at the top and too loose on the forearm (for me, anyway). And the stitching on mine has come undone as well. The merino ones are fantastic though, really comfortable in spring and autumn and even though they're thin they've lasted much better than the regular ones. I wear them for probably half of the year.
