Liverpool have a chance to gain ground on some of these mid-table teams today. This is a real test for us and if we don't win it shows we are nowhere near good enough for anything other than a relegation fight.

This, it's a mid-table battle we need to win.

I don't mind the results so far, it's frustrating, but we need to give Rodgers time, I feel he is a long term prospect rather than an immediate fix.

As long as we aren't relegated I'm not too concerned about this season, maybe not even next season either, I believe he's putting a young team into place which with a few more additions (and the retirements of Captain Fantastic & Carra) will really blossom in a few seasons.

But today I'd really like a win, and fuck the future.
