am curious what apps people think need the extra oomph

my 3gs is still perfectly capable for most apps. ok it's not retina but that's not the end of the world.

It's the difference between having a 5 year old computer and a brand new quad core one and trying to run Windows 8 / OS X ML. Both will do it but the new one will make the experience that much nicer...
