Assistants are unlikely to have heard much. There was a huge amount of noise at that time. Three players heard what was said. He should have just said that "monkey" was an affectionate term where he comes from, apologised if he had given offence and the whole thing would have gone away. Instead he confronted the players and staff and made even more accusations against them. Arrogant twerp.
