This makes interesting reading... and could up the ante significantly.
Five major European newspapers – The Times, Belgium’s Het Nieuwsblad and Le Soir, French title L’Equipe and Italy’s La Gazzetta dello Sport – have today joined launched a ‘Manifesto for credible cycling’ in the wake of the Lance Armstrong scandal and ahead of the conclusion of the Padova enquiry in Italy and next year’s Operacion Puerto trial in Spain.
The rest of the article and the manifesto can be found here..

I get confused too ;-)
mega merge proposal: Lance Armstrong thread = doping thread?

Lance Armstrong thread = doping thread?
It does seem like that, but I can see the sense of having a separate space to highlight what a total cuntard Armstrong is, aside from the doping.
-
• #3159
And also a separate space where we can have a reasonable discussion about doping without getting bogged down in what an irredeemable asshole Armstrong is.

Telegraph saying Sean Yates has quit.
Says he admitted doping in the past. -

These are, quite honestly, the best two posts I've seen since I joined.

Telegraph saying Sean Yates has quit.
Says he admitted doping in the past.SKY say he's "retired for personal reasons" and a drugs denial - pathetic.

What a non-statement - bog standard wordings for whoever leaves whatever.
Shame, he obviously knows what he's doing and contributed a lot at Sky

Are there other cyclists sponsored by Nike? Any reaction from Patrick Seabase?

The world class cyclist and fixie champion only exists in black and white photos. I don't think he does talking.

thought this was a good read from the Irish Independent:

Still looks absolutely nothing like LA.
That, too.

reckon Cav's biography might sell a few more without the LA quote on the cover:

De Telegraaf, Le Soir, Het Nieuwsblad, The Times, La Gazzetta dell Sport and L'Equipe have a co-ordinated campaign published today with a joint manifesto for credible cycling.
That's alot of pressure being brought to bear.
