Also, I've never been to Stevenage before, but Google Maps seems to suggest that the place is filled with amazing cycle lanes that are completely separated from pedestrian footpaths with grass verges. Turns out it's been designed that way since the 1950s!
Pretty sure this is old news to everybody else but it's well exciting for me.
