Wonder if they will do another version of the Tweed Softshell.
Mate has the one with elbow patches and the quality/material/design is lush [as Welsh slappers are wont to say]
Can't persuade him to sell it for any amount of money.Shoulda bought one when they were available...
One garment I would like to see re-released is the black Stowaway/ Wind jacket. -

Still got a pair of Rapha 3/4 length shorts in a 32" waist that I'd like to swap for a 30" if anyone's game. They've only been worn a few times.

Just bought the winter embro and the soap. Yeah, I bought Rapha soap.
The soap smells amazing. The embro smells lethal and I am scared of it. I'll try both tomorrow.

it will pass...im in remission -

It better pass, at Japanese prices. £175 for the long-sleeve jersey!
-
• #9858
^Remember you are buying a grainy, black and white lifestyle full of noble, epic suffering not a long sleeve jersey. The price is there to increase your level of suffering thus making the final achievement of wearing your jersey when you pop down the shops on your bike for a pint of milk that little bit more special.

Nope, no one will insinuate that you desire carnal relations with your mum.

What? Did you get a free nodder commute vest with that? Or are we talking the "value range" long sleeved jersey, not the "finest range" Brevet nonsense?
I can't believe you bought soap... ffs. It's SOAP!
-
• #9863
Didn't buy the jersey. I wish, but not at that price! That was the regular LS Jersey...
The soap is LUSH. No regrets.
-
• #9864
its also 7 quid!
-
• #9866
no its not
the rapha soap is 4.5cm cubed
1cm cubed = 1 millilitre
your missus' handwash is 500ml for 27 quid the equivalent size rapha soap would cost you 321 quid -
• #9867
soap bars last longer than liquid though
-
• #9868
You're attempting to compare a liquid soap to a solid soap. This is not a fair comparison.
-

i was just trying to make bobbo feel better thats all
-
• #9870
If Bobbo filled up his liquid soap with Tesco Value liquid soap every now and again then his price per ml would be much lower.
-
• #9871
on a less soapy note...
if anyone has a winter hat they want short of... preferably the CX one?
i have quite a large bonce though.

900 Yen for a nice bar of soap isn't bad for Japan. Maybe I'd feel bad in the UK. The GF was just showing me 9,000 Yen of cosmetics that she 'needs' to buy - now that's crazy!
-
• #9873
Pony up and that'll be a lot of yen-tzing indeed...
-
• #9874
Thankfully she wasn't trying to get me to buy it. She was actually commenting that by comparison, the Rapha soap sounded like good value...
Luckily she's the sort of sensible girl who'd rather receive a pair of bib shorts than a necklace as a gift, so I can get away with a lot. ;)

The Bobbo's could try -->this<-- also.
It's a massive slab and mine has lasted for more than 6 months of irregular use. It's nice!
you just have to pay 190 for a long sleeved jersey? Bargain.
