Spotted a dude on Kennington Rd this morning on a hybrid with twin spoks, disc brakes and a backpack with a dachshund in it. Fair enough.
Quite similar to another dude I spotted on Camberwell Rd the other day now I come to think of it. He was also on a be-spok'd hybrid, but this guy had a full on chromed snowboard lid with a digital camera mounted on top and full chrome lens snowboard goggles. He had a blonde goatee and straggly long blonde hair at the back and was head to toe in black SAS or SWAT team spec survival gear. You just know he thinks everyone else is idiotically underprepared for the ongoing urban war that is the commute. I imagine he's the kind of guy who has £15k speakers and only three CDs. I guaran-fucking-tee you he owns a leather trenchcoat and built his own NASA spec PC.

Surely it's safer? The extra pair of wheels making you less likely to fall over, in one direction at least. Also, when used on the offside it forces drivers to give you more room.

Prize your anonymity over our desire for pics. Once he knows who you are there's no escape.

Dude on a black fixed getting stopped by police outside Liverpool street station for shadow riding an Evans bike. Is it illegal to shadow ride a bike? I've done it many times in view of police before but they've never said anything before.

I think it's more likely the police stopped him to check he hadn't nicked it.
I've seen bike thieves do this before. They ride their bike, and ghost ride the one they've just nicked.

The message with the photo hasn't come through (yet?) if it does come through I'll post it.

If you are having problems uploading the photo, why not film Iain and put it on youtube for us all to laugh at/admire his "shorts of awesome".

He's stopped after 50 minutes it seems, he's dripping all over the floor and looks really quite knackered. People are eating their lunch nearby.
without lights?
