• Anything on the road should be in the left-most lane except for a few specific circumstances. One of which is turning right, which the cyclist was doing according to the description for the video (even says he was indicating, which seems a bit odd since he was bloody miles from the junction). Not one post on the police forum seemed to notice that.

    You're also allowed to undertake someone indicating to turn right, so in that respect the driver did nothing wrong. However, the manner in which he undertook was piss-poor, perfectly matched by his attitude when pulled up on it.

    To be honest I don't understand why he didn't move into the left hand lane. It didn't look busy and I can't imagine he'd have had any problems getting back across to turn right. Hard to tell, since after passing the bus he never bothered looking back anyway.

    A bit shit all round really.
