I'd say never, rather than the feasibility it's business constraint, isn't it?
If they'd have gone the campag way i.e. the top end and the start of the mid end electronic then Ultegra Di2 would never happen.
So hypothetically speaking if Sram goes campag way it'll be Sram RED electronic and Apex or Rival Electronic; force will never be electronic.
Alfine going electronic sort of says in a way that 105 will never go electronic.
But again can't say ; ) I'd love if 105 goes electronic. But in my experience of being a geek and buying stuff you NEVER get best of both and value, you get sweet spots such as 105 where value and performance sort of meet in the middle.
