I'm on my second time through Dishonoured, this time indiscriminately murdering absolutely everyone in sight just for the hell of it. It's still more fun to do this with a stealth approach, picking them off one by one and hiding the bodies. Despite playing both times on hard, the powers make it a little too easy, particularly being able to 'blink' up to enemies from quite a distance away and take them down. If you're quick enough this even works without needing to be behind them.
One cool trick is to stop time, then equip the crossbow and shoot at multiple targets. The bolts hang in mid air until time starts again, at which point they take down the enemies simultaneously.
Am about half way through and so far haven't noticed any difference in the way it's playing out, apart from a slight increase in the number of rats.
